No account, no advertising, no cookies, no audience measurement and no script from another site.

Your browser keeps two things, on your device only: your choice of light or dark theme, and the draft of a report in progress (erased when it is sent or the tab is closed).

Messages sent through "Report an error" or "Contact us" are used only to correct the site and to answer you; they are kept while we handle them, and for 12 months at most. To see or erase them: contact@sourcecivique.fr.

Donations go through Buy Me a Coffee and its payment provider Stripe, under their own privacy rules.

Sources, photos and fonts

Every piece of information links to its source; the texts quoted remain their authors' property.

The portraits come from Wikimedia Commons, under free licences; each photo is credited, with its author and licence, on the person's page.

Typeface: Source Serif 4, under the SIL Open Font License.

Source Civique is an information tool. The information is taken from dated sources and can change; every page lets you report an error, and corrections are published.
